Process Controls and Levelpro release the new Level Sensor, the Ultrapro series
500 and 1000using Ultrasonic technology. As well as the 100 series submersible
level sensor using hydrostatic pressure technology. Available now with a local
display or coupled with the remote TVL Series ITC550 remote display. Using an
output of 4-20mA or 0-5V. This unit can be equipped with almost every display
on the market. Within days of the levelpro level sensor release, UBA Chemical
used the LevelproUltrasonic, as well as the 100 series submersible Level Sensor
to quickly and accurately give a reading of their Sodium Hypochlorite tank. Both
of these level sensors by Levelpro work perfectly with the highly corrosive application.
The Levelpro Ultrapro Level Sensor as
mentioned is available in two different styles. The 500 and 1000. The
difference between the two is the local display that the 1000 series comes equipped with. Some of the attractive features that UBA
Chemical was interested in and currently use are the No FOB or computers needed
to program the unit. They were able to install and set up the Levelpro Level
Sensor right there on site. With the all plastic design in PVDF and Polypropylene.
Even if there is a spill or fumes from the product, it will not affect the
unit. With the two button set up, it
took only minutes to get this unit up and running quickly and accurately.
Meaning there was little to now down time for UBA, which is a big deal for a
company of this magnitude. The customer did not have to let us know the sizing
of the tank at the time of purchase since they were able to adjust the 4mA and
20mA to fit their tank needs at the time of install. Available in one meter,
two meter, six meter and twenty meter.
The Levelpro Level Sensor work with them
all. Some customers get nervous with ultrasonic, scared that some condensate or
vapours can get in the way of an accurate reading. With the LevelproLevel
Sensor, the echo is so large that is can actually push the condensate off the
unit, allowing it to continue to keep an accurate level without going lost. UBA
is ever going and may want to switch to HART protocol in the future with
majority of their tanks that they currently have on site. This makes the
Levelpro Level Sensor something to keep in mind for all of their future
applications since it does offer this output.
The 100 Series level sensor by
Levelpro is also perfect for this application. It can go upwards of 100ft range
of water column and is available in PP, PVC and PVDF Materials. With kalrez
seals as a standard and Teflon cable. No chemical can corrode these units.
The market has had a gap in its
offering for several years now. With level sensors that were not making the
cut. Now with the Levelpro Level Sensor; The Ultrapro and 100 series, the gap
has been filled. Introducing a much stronger product than ever before and
keeping the accuracy at an all-time high. With the positive feedback from all
the customers that have the Levelpro Level Sensor installed. It should continue
to make an impact on the market.
